Ayisha, the manager at "Substance," a fantastic boutique in the Shorth North District, where I am currently employed, posted a few pieces of my jewelry on the new website. This is exciting because aside from etsy, I've never had my work for sale on the web. It's just a few necklaces but I hope to make more in the upcoming summer and work towards obtaining a booth at Craftin' Outlaws in October. I'm also working on a small collection of one of a kind garments which I hope someone will be kind enough to stock in their store. Make sure to browse around the Substance website also. It's still under construction but new things are being added all the time thanks to two very talented young ladies.

Since summer has started I've mostly been working on projects at work and don't have a lot to show for it so I thought I'd post about something frivolous and silly.

False Eyelashes.

I want these on my face.

This is one element of make-up artistry I have yet to master. I love them. They are awesome. They don't stay on my face. I've tried all kinds of adhesives and I've tried trimming them to stay on my small eyes better. The edges always peel up. Why is this? I mean I know they're not practical but there must be a better solution.

CIRCUS BERSERKUS

So for anyone who might stumble upon this and have no idea what's going on...The Columbus College of Art & Design's Fashion Design department has a Senior Thesis show at the end of every year. This year the theme was "Under the Big Top: Circus Couture" Below are a few images of my fantastic models looking totally professional. Some people just have good JEANS

For my final project in Fashion Illustration/Layout class, we were asked to complete a collection with 9 to 11 figures on the subject of our choosing. Our instructor had repeatedly suggested that I design more denim because she liked the result of my rendering the legendary Abercrombie & Fitch project we are all required to do every year. So, in an effort to appease her and get the project done quickly, I came up with this. (Illustrations are absent due to not having scanned them into the computer.)

The senior class of Fashion Design at the Columbus College of Art & Design had their runway show this past Saturday. Few photos have cropped up so far from the event and I do not possess a camera with really any capabilities at all, so these are some of the back stage photos I've found so far.
